At our trial I showed her photos of looks I liked, and told her what mood I was going. She gave really wonderful suggestions, and we came up with a beautiful look that I wouldn't have envisioned on my own, but ended up being really happy with.I found Olivia while researching Asian makeup artists in SGV. These were some of the points that set her apart from other HMUA:- I appreciated Olivia's offerings because a lot of other HMU services I found were booked as wedding day packages that were above my budget and really more than what I needed or wanted.- Olivia is thoughtful--she encouraged me to schedule my makeup trial for the day of my engagement photo shoot. I know a lot of other makeup artists charge extra for weekend trials--understandably. But it was very nice of Olivia to care and not let a good-makeup day go to waste :P - My trial and wedding days were both during a heatwave and Olivia definitely kept that in mind and made me feel reassured me that the heat wouldn't be a problem for my makeup. I went to her for my brows and I couldn't be happier!I wake up at 5am everyday so anything to help me shave off some getting ready time helps. With my new brows I save so much time not having to draw them out and they're perfect every morning!The procedure is pretty straight forward and Kelly is really good at checking in on you to see how you're doing throughout. “I've been so excited to leave this review! I live in Los Angeles CA and am visiting Springfield MO with the soul purpose of a hair appointment with Attie! Who if you don't know, is a hair MAGICIAN! Color, cuts, CURLY HAIR.. this girl can do it ALL. She takes her time and pays attention to detail when working on hair. I first met Attie when we were both living in Denver CO and that's when I learned about her powers. I had went to another stylest to get Bubblegum pink color on my curls, long story short I walked out of that appointment with cherry red hair. After the huge disappointment of spending hundreds of dollars on something I didn't ask for I ran into Attie, explained to her what happened and she immediately told me with full confidence that she can make it happen. AND SHE DID. She gave me the pink hair of my DREAMS and gave me an AMAZING CURLY CUT to match After the pink grew out I went to someone else in the new state I had moved to in hopes to get that pink back, another long story short.. I left with patchy color in my hair.. yellow, orange and pink. Another disappointment. After a lot of thinking about what I should do I realized the only guaranteed option.. TAKE A TRIP TO SEE ATTIE! I'm beyond excited to share these pictures of the masterpiece she's created on my head and definitely extatic for my round 2 of Bubblegum pink hair! Not that anyone needed that long story review for me to say that if your thinking about scheduling an appointment with Attie just DO IT, and if your in search of that amazing person to take your hair to the next level LOOK NO FURTHER! She's working at Blu Skies salon and incase I didn't say it enough already her name is ATTIE!!!!“
