Not all heroes wear capes, today I went to kaiser because I had a pretty bad burn, my nurse linda torres pereira was so sweet and gentle. She took the time to show me how to properly clean and put on my ointment with my gauze. She was willing to take those extra few minutes to make sure I understand how to properly do it to avoid an infection. I will forever be coming to this kaiser. Everyone is always so nice and professional but today linda melted my heart.
This is ridiculous I've been in line waiting to receive medication that I already spent an hour on line pre ordering so I won't have to wait as long. There's no pharmacy techs. There's 12 slots and only 2 are opened and one of them is taking prescriptions this is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
To the DCU nursing staff at Kaiser, Downey. THANK YOU so much from Alice Guzman's family who cared for our mom - you gave her the best care she could have had. Ruth (the pregnant nurse) thank you for respecting my mom's 'patient rights' even though we may not have agreed with them, you followed her wishes . You treated her with loving care, professionalism and respect. When I left her room for the night, I knew she'd be in good hands. Know there were a lot of us there for the last week and we may have been a little disruptive at times-but you let us be with our mom. I've always said Kaiser has the best nursing staff. Have had a few surgeries there and received the best care. Thank you for the coffee and thank you for being the best! Gloria
