Are you looking for a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) who offers effective and positive training for your puppy or adult dog in the San Diego, Encinitas, Fallbrook, Solana Beach or Fairbanks Ranch area? If so, we highly recommend Christine Young, owner of The Puppy Care Company. We adopted a twelve-week-old puppy that was cute as could be. We quickly learned that we weren’t prepared for the crazy puppy jumping up on people, biting, crazy energy and later adolescent antics. That led us to searching for a trainer who specialized in puppies and adolescent dogs. We found Christine Young, who offers zoom sessions, as well as in person training. Working together with Christine, we learned how to turn frustrating and negative puppy behaviors into positive ones. Our pup viewed these training sessions with Christine and us as fun games. Little did our puppy realize that those games were helping her learn appropriate behavior without us yelling or using punishment correction. Everyone in our house was relieved and happy to be learning positive techniques that channeled our pup’s energy into appropriate behaviors. Christine’s training respects the dog’s needs, as well as helping the dog learn appropriate boundaries. Recently, we adopted a second dog and Christine was right there helping us with the transition. Christine’s extensive expertise, experience and care for her clients is evident from the very first training session. Christine is always there for us and our dogs, offering guidance and resources.“

“I was referred to Animal Keepers by a coworker. The facility made the intake process easy. Be it boarding or just day camp I have confidence that my dog will always be well taken care of.
Destiny and Austin were on top of any requests or questions that I had. They made sure his medications were administered appropriately and that he got plenty of attention.“

“I am a new customer and they chose to give my dog individual playtime for his two day stay. They sent me a daily report telling me how was doing. It sounded like he was having fun! They even included several pictures of him with the staff during his stay.
Overall I think my dog loved his stay here. He will be going again soon while I go on vacation.

“The vet was very understanding on Pepes needs and action on his itching needs and bumps on forehead and prescribed special wipes to help with the facial itch and future plans if not succesful. Very happy on points build up to help cover Pepe visit.“

“Professional. It was busy because it was a Saturday. A few emergency last minute add ons. The communication was clear that they were busy and I did not feel neglected nor did our appointment time run too long. We were still in and out within about 45 minutes for a vet tech visit to get vaccinations for my dog. Shelley, Manny, & Dr. Wilcox are friendly, professional, & knowledgeable. Thank you all.
