Andrew Leon is the best! I followed Andrew, L.A. transplant from Vidal Sassoon SF (yes, that classic world entity) to the East Bay. Andrew is not just a colourist, he's an artist. Do you want perfect hair? Book Andrew and you won't be disappointed.

This review is for Andrew Yoer Leon who does color. He's fantastic. I have been all over the Bay trying to find colorists who can take my black hair to bleach blonde in a healthy way and get to the level of lightness I want and finally found someone close to home. I used to have to drive out to SF to get similar results (after trying many colorists in the east bay that couldn't quite get what I was trying to achieve) but now so glad there's Andrew at Tribez. He specializes in color exclusively. Paula Bedo at gold and ash recommended him to me and I am so glad she did (she's amazing too for cuts!). I've been to Andrew twice and he was great about doing a full bleach and keeping my hair healthy as well as following that up later with a method that made the grow out look very natural. Totally recommend him.

Andrew Leon is the BEST colorist in the Bay Area.
He's also a master of the blow out — no one has come close to his beachy waves. Vidal Sassoon trained and from LA, I have followed him to 3 different salons. I now drive an hour each way to get my blonde balayage and touch ups done with him. And he's a super kind and cool person. He's fixed many bad color jobs for other clients and has a loyal following.

The salon he's at now is comfortable and unpretentious with a big parking lot. At risk of making my his availability more limited, I highly recommend him.
