Paula just gets it. She understands the subtle differences that will make your hair have a slightly edgier vs professional vs whatever-you-are-going for look. I have gone to her several times now and she has given me cuts that are edgy, or fun/tousled, or whatever we were going for. All of that is pretty hard to achieve with my fine, stick straight hair. Once she even had a separate session with me to teach me how to style my new hair bc i was terrible at doing that (if you do that I'd recommend paying for her time bc it's worth it). The last haircut I had was by the amazing Paula in Los Angeles, February 24, 2020. She moved up to Danville shortly after that and then the Pandenic struck. No haircut in a little over a year, and I continued getting compliments on my hair until the end February, 2020. It grew back and still maintained it’s shape, I was shocked!!! That’s what Paula does ... she’s a hair whisperer!

Paula is amazing. This beautiful woman is talented AF and I'm so happy to have found her after moving to the burbs from the City - she's so sweet and fun to chat with. I'm super lazy and naturally have super boring, stick straight hair but thanks to Paula, I get compliments all the time. I spend less than 3 mins on my hair in the mornings (1+ hr commute with a toddler ugh) and that's only possible because my cut is fantastic. She knows how to cut in a way that allows it to grow out without looking grown out. Also, many close friends don't even know I color to cover greys, she makes my highlights look so natural.
