About The Westside Church
The Westside Church is a community striving for spiritual transformation and growth with the mission of helping people follow Jesus Christ. Belonging to the Westside Church means belonging to a spiritual family filled with love, vision, truth, and grace. The church is devoted to growing deeper in biblical faith and love while participating with the Spirit to expand the influence of the gospel throughout the Westside and greater Los Angeles area. Loving one another and their community, their dream is to initiate small groups of teens, college, single, and married believers throughout LA. The Westside Church is an inspiring and faith-building place for all ages, with an amazing campus ministry and an upbeat, diverse community dedicated to bringing love to their community and the world.
I’m so grateful for the influence that the Westside church has had on this city, on me, my walk with God, my marriage, etc. I joined in 2020 and was so grateful for the support and love and inspiration during that year. The individual Bible studies changed my life, and now I’m able to lead those studies with other people. The young professionals group was amazing for the time I was in it, but my best memories are the premarital counseling because I think it absolutely set the tone of my marriage. Now, my husband and I love being part of our family group, hosting beach baptisms, and the continued community that the church has to offer.
I’ve been here for 2 years and love the professionals ministry! Some of my best friends are here and love all the deep relationships I’ve been able to build with across all life stages. The best part is that I’m around spiritual professionals in my industry that I’m able to connect with and get advice from. Fellowship is rich and I enjoy all the events the ministry puts on to bring us together. We have fun doing life together!
I’ve been going to this church since 1999 when I moved to Los Angeles from Seattle to attend UCLA. It’s a very diverse church full of friendly people. I immediately made life long friends. The ministers teach things straight from the bible. The church is quite close knit and a lot of people know each other. Highly recommended!
