It's great for people who are graduating from earning bachelor degree and wanting to dip their toes in the mental health field. This job makes you learn more about psychology and mental health all in general when working with the kids. There's fun outings especially in the summer. You make memories with these kids that come from nothing and help them become better people in the world. This job is great for like I said people Who are just finishing college.
I'm a former resident. I at one point in the development process had trouble adjusting. I went to Vista Del Mar. It's a remarkable place. Full of happy loving caring administrators . I was fortunate , grateful now and interested in reaching out to the Administrators that may be looking for someone that wants to be involved in the process. I want to help the kids . I'm hopeful .
Without going into too much personal detail this place was referred as an option for help and guidance, but just getting the lady in charge to return your call after various voicemails and an email, she never returned the call. However did get a call after about 3 weeks for another person and she was a total b***h. She had no tact, nor compassion and really did not sympathize with the situation. In fact after the conversation with her this place would no longer be of interest to me.
