I'll start with the good: AllStar Custom Builders came in at the lowest bid from several HVAC companies to replace an HVAC system for my 1500 sq ft house. They also installed a larger unit than the other companies were quoting for (received a 4 ton unit vs 3 ton) so I was very pleased about that. The problems came with the installation. Because a larger unit was promised as part of the bid and ordered from the supplier, the installation was extremely challenging. The indoor closet where the furnace and coil go had a gas pipe that needed to be moved. So installation proceeded about half-way on the first install day.
