He has been cutting hair over 30 years and took a look at the sample photo I provided, spent a generous amount of time talking through how I wanted it and then executed it somehow both carefully and quickly. It turned out great and if for some reason I felt I wanted an adjustment he said I could come back anytime within 5 days and he’d fix it free of charge. I don’t need to, but it’s a cool guarantee.

“Went here back in. 2016. I was stationed in Petaluma while in the Coast Guard.. Base barbershop had butchered my hair so I had to find some local barbers… being from the east coast I had little hopes to find a place that felt like back home… this spot, these guys, wasn’t home but they showed me how the Bay Area guys do it big. The owner treated us with respect and made us feel like we had been coming there for years. I returned the favor by spreading the word to the guys on base and my haircut was the proof. I didn’t have to sell it because my guys on base was asking me where I got it! One the best barbershop I’ve ever been to.
