“Our family has been going to Lou at Authentics Barber Shop in Petaluma for years, and we honestly can’t recommend him enough. My husband and our 4-year-old son both get their hair cut by him, and Lou is incredibly talented every single time. He’s also hilarious, which makes the whole experience fun instead of just another errand.

What really stands out is how welcoming the shop is for kids. Lou has kids of his own, so he knows how to make little ones feel comfortable. My son actually looks forward to his haircuts because he knows there’s a lollipop waiting for him at the end.

The shop itself always has a great vibe: clean, good energy, and plenty of parking. They even keep the fridge stocked with nonalcoholic drinks for clients, which is a nice touch. And often a variety of sports games on the multiple TVs.
