I highly recommend Dr. Garfola for shockwave therapy. Dr. Garfola is patient, kind, takes the time to listen and explain the procedure and what might be happening. She's easy to communicate with and never pushes you beyond your comfort level. I have tried almost everything for an ankle injury that is over 2 yrs old. I saw multiple podiatrists, got cortisone shots, MRIs, and saw orthopedists. Nobody could pinpoint the problem and one recommended surgery even though there wasn't anything she could see in the MRI. I went from not being able to walk or exercise more than 20 minutes for over 2 years (!) to being able to walk 40-50 minutes with little to no pain in 8-10 weeks....read full review
Dr. Vicki was wonderful. She explained what she was going to do and why before she performed her chiropractic procedures on me. She helped me to feel comfortable and I felt wonderful after her care.
Sharing my experience bc I hope that others who are searching for injury relief and hitting barriers (not getting relief) will give this a try. In my experience, working with Dr. Vicki Garfola at MFC on my tendonitis (elbow) has been hugely helpful and the only modality that has given me relief. I'm going to start working on my ankle soon and feel optimistic! D.C. Dr. Vicki is kind, attentive and is truly focused on helping you heal. She's also a good listener :) which is something that can be taken for granted in the healthcare industry. Highly Recommend!
