I definitely looked at a number of shops before coming to the decision that Shipwreck provides the highest quality of cuts in the area. I’ve been in the IE on and off over a decade now and have tried out a number of different places. The reason why I think Shipwreck is so successful is because of barbers like Nate. He took me on as a new client, genuinely listened to what I wanted and put in extra time/care that was blatant to see. I almost don’t want to about him out because the rates may increase but he deserves it! Definitely got a returning customer. Shout out to V also, killer with the clippers💪🏽
Nik gave me such a good haircut, he attention to detail is amazing, he’s friendly thoughtful and has all around good vibes. A+ haircut. The only thing that would’ve made it better was a cold one with the cut.
There are hair salons. There are barbershops. Then there are safe havens like Shipwreck Corona. Dany has been the best barber I have ever had. From asking what my pronouns are, to asking for my consent to touch me, his class and politically correctness was second to none.
