I found this place by accident and I'm happy I did ... I went in for lip filler and love my results, Dr. & staff were so nice and made me feel comfortable ..I will be going back in the near future.
One of my neighbors mentioned Botox and Lip Fillers from Dr Hamkar and I was intrigued. I've been looking to get my lips done, but I've honestly been too nervous. I have some time off from work so I felt like it was time to do it now in case there's any bruising/swelling. I was given Erika's info to set up the appointment. I texted Erika, Dr Hamkar's wife on 7/10 and she let me know when the next available appointment in Corona was, a week later on 7/17. She sent me a link to confirm my appointment and to fill out some forms. She also suggested that I purchase and take some Bromelain the day before and day of my procedure to help reduce any potential swelling. Everything was super convenient. There's 2 offices that I'm aware of; one in Chino and the Corona office. The Corona location was closest, about an hour away, but I was excited. I arrived about 15 minutes early, but I couldn't find the suite for some reason. I texted Erika and she let me know they are located upstairs. She asked that I wait in my car for a bit and then come in because they were coming from their other office in Chino. My appointment was at 4:35pm. She texted me a few minutes after 4:30pm to come up. The office is very small, but it has everything needed to perform the procedure comfortably. Erika and Dr Hamkar both welcomed me in. There was a reclining beauty chair waiting for me, a bench, a large full length floor mirror, a TV mounted on the other side and some music playing. I was super nervous on the inside, but they both made me feel at ease. Erika slathered some numbing cream on my lips right away and then Dr Hamkar applied the dental blocker. I don't like being uncomfortable in the slightest, but it was all honestly painless. Then he waited a few minutes for it to kick in before starting. He was in the zone when he was applying the lip filler, which made me feel even better! I could tell he was trying to do his best. My lips are naturally very thin, almost non existent to me :( When he was done about 20 minutes later, he calmly said, you have lips. He handed me a small mirror and I was pleasantly surprised. I was very happy and relieved! They gave me their recommendations for aftercare and reminded me of the expectations; when I should return, how long it may last, what not to do for a few days and that I can continue taking Bromelain to help with any potential bruising. The payment method was entered when I confirmed my appointment last week. When I was done about 30 minutes later, Erika processed the payment on her phone and that was it. Total cost was $450 and it was well worth it! It's only been a few hours and I'm thrilled with the results so far! I will definitely recommend him to friends and bring my mom from Northern Cali to get some work done as well. I highly recommend Dr Hamkar and will return when it's time for me to get a refresh!
I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Hamkar. I have received both Botox and lip fillers. Dr. Hamkar's attention to detail is amazing. I come from out of town to get my botox and lip fillers, I will go nowhere else. Him and his wife Erika always make you feel so welcome.
