I am a recurring customer every 4 weeks and she always adjusts her massage approach after checking in with me re: the current problem areas that I am dealing with that day. “hidden gem! I have been here multiple times for deep therapeutic massages with Nancy for only $40for a full hour. Huge shopping center open parking lot makes it super convenient as well. I exercise a lot and though no injuries, my muscles get sore. Nancy asks me where she should focus on, and definitely customizes based on where I need the pressure stronger. She has really strong hands and clearly formal training, as good as you'd expect from a high end spa. Other pluses- impeccably clean linens, rooms and bathroom. “Her classes super affordable by donation based. Please donate reasonable amount because she works very hard to make sure the class runs smoothly and answers all questions. Kerri is funny and kind! I do enjoy going to all her classes for reiki and learning more in depth of the different subjects that she has to offer. If you have any questions, Kerri responds back when she can through email. I believe you can reach her by phone as well. But I would rather do email to make it easier. Her reiki sessions are very reasonable and donation based as well. I really like the sliding scale and how she makes it that everyone can afford to learn and get treatment! Kerri offers payment plans to break it up for students who can't afford to pay all at once. Everything goes to cancer patients for the classes and sessions.“

“I found Orchard Thai Massage on Yelp after leaving another appointment nearby. I was already in Newport Beach by the airport and really wanted a Thai massage. There was one closer, but they were closing early, so I checked reviews and headed over here instead — and I’m so glad I did.

I wish I remembered my therapist’s name. She was amazing. I usually book Thai massage specifically because I want to be stretched, but the front desk suggested their combo massage, which they said was really popular. At first, I was hesitant — I wanted stretching, but I also wanted oil because I’d been traveling and my body was sore.

Honestly, I had low expectations going in. I thought I wouldn’t get enough pressure or stretching… but it was perfect. She still stretched me out, walked on my back, cracked my back, and the bed was heated (huge plus). The pressure was great, she checked in on me often, and communication was easy — her English was totally fine.

The rooms were clean, everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and she even gave me a $5 coupon to come back next time.

I’d 100% do this combo massage again here — and honestly, next time I’d probably book longer than 60 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Makes me want to go again right now.“

“Basic, still mostly dressed, communal massage (10 beds). It's not a private or one-on-one experience, but the masseuses are very technically oriented and strong. For what it is, it's a very good value and actually works out a lot of issues and pressure points. “I have had dozens of massages from different establishments and Tina stands out among the best masseuses I have ever had. I asked for 9/10 pressure and requested back walking and hot stone. The pressure was consistent throughout and the technique was flawless for all aspects of the massage. I have upper and lower back pain and I felt amazing afterwards and even better the next day. I prefer a more remedial massage as opposed to relaxing and this was somehow both. It would be difficult to go to anyone else. “Got Sam as my massage therapist- best massage of my life. Just as a heads up that the foot massage is actually a full body massage- you don’t technically need to interest, but he wanted to massage my shoulders so he asked me to remove my shirt, I would definitely prepare a better next time.

The pricing structure is a bit misleading. It’s $30 for an hour for the foot massage-($31 with credit card) so I tipped $9 to be an even $40 thinking the over 20% tip seemed more than an adequate tip, however I was berated by the front desk person (the owner?) and was pointed to a sheet that said the baseline tip for an hour massage was 15$ for good service $20 for great, and$25 for excellent service. Makes me think that the employees ONLY get paid via their tips?
