This family business is the real deal for skylights. It was a pleasure to work with them from the very first call to the last email. Jimmy came out to help select the best options for us and quoted a reasonable price. The crew performed excellent craftsmanship and professionalism.
Mares and Dow were a delight to work with, from the first phone call with Janet to the finished construction done by Jimmy and Rafael. Jimmy came to give me a quote and answered all my questions patiently and completely. The price seemed reasonable to me after checking the internet for how much it costs to replace skylights.
I have three skylights in a kitchen that was remodeled 27 years ago. The shades and opening feature stopped working and repairing the skylights wasn't an option due to their age. I’ve exclusively used Mares & Dow for all our skylights and sun tunnels since 2012. They are the premier Velux installers and I highly recommend them! Our latest project was a new patio deck roof with 2 skylights.
