Had a small (250 sq ft) kitchen and laundry room laminate floor replaced due to water damage with new LVT (luxury vinyl tile - looks like stone) through Costco. The bid was about the same as others we got but less when the Costco discounts were applied. The old laminate material (25 yrs) was made from wood so a large spill seeped into the seams and caused it to swell, lifting the edges. Other than that the old floor was still in great shape (too bad I had to replace it). The new material is waterproof so we won't have that problem again.
