Super friendly staff and lots of rare instruments and decorative art. They are very laid back and like to have fun with the customers. Prices are fair as well and you get the nice mom and pop vibe in all the good ways. I only give it 4 out of 5 just because what they had for what I was looking for was limited. But they were gracious enough to point us to another local who had what I was looking for.

The shop is wonderful. I went in looking for some things I could do as an amateur guitarist to accommodate a hand injury. Ellen and Nathan were very patient and generous with their time. They offered several workable solutions, including trying bottleneck. I walked out with a new Dunlop bottleneck and a book of blues songs adapted to open tunings. So far, it's going great.
And the shop has a ton of interesting instruments of all types. Once my hand heals, I hope to come back and try out a few of them.

A quality old-school establishment with the best selection of folk instruments in the county. Part-museum-part-store, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. After buying a banjo here they had a couple suggestions for teachers. Also, check out their open mic nights!
