I have been going to JCPenney Optical in Citrus Heights for years now, and the service I receive there is exceptional! I went in yesterday for an eye exam since my vision has deteriorated a lot in the last few years. I had been putting it off and struggling because I was honestly overwhelmed by having to deal with it. The office was so clean and the staff was wonderful, epecially Maria. She actually made the experience fun and went above and beyond to answer all my questions and explain my options. Not once did I feel pressured to spend beyond my budget, in fact they gave me options that didn't even require me getting glasses through them at this time. But I did decide to get glasses and there was an amazing 2 for $69 deal happening and Maria helped me try on like 30 pairs if glasses... read full review
