J's is a barbershop known for its great service and friendly staff. The barbers at J's are accommodating when customers make mistakes, such as booking the wrong day, and will try to fit them in as walk-ins. Customers appreciate the true barbershop experience and the clean, welcoming environment. Many customers have had amazing cuts and praise the good energy and vibe in the shop. J's is recommended as the best barbershop in the Fairoaks/Citrus Heights area, and it is also a great place for kids' haircuts.
Called ahead towards the end of the day for a last minute walk-in appointment for our 7 year old son. The barber we ended up with was Antonio. He was very friendly, took his time, and did a wonderful job. He even did a little design and it turned out awesome! Super happy!
I don’t trust many people with my beard, but J is a master. The hot towel shave was relaxing and the line-up on my beard is perfectly symmetrical. If you want a barber who actually understands face shapes and beard grooming, this is the spot.
Focused on Technical Skill
If you’re looking for a sharp fade and clean lines, this is the place. J has an incredible eye for detail and doesn't rush the process. It’s rare to find a barber who takes this much pride in their work. Highly recommend for anyone who cares about the details.
