About Dignity Health
Dignity Health provides medical care, including allergy testing at their Citrus Heights location. Patients report positive experiences with the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. One patient highlighted the positive interaction with Alexis, a medical professional who explained the allergy test process thoroughly, making the children feel comfortable. Another patient praised Stephanie Prater, a physician assistant, for her attentive care and willingness to address all their concerns. However, some patients have experienced difficulties with Dignity Health's phone system. They reported long wait times and issues with receiving appointment reminders, leading to confusion and inconvenience. One patient described a situation where an appointment was confirmed over the phone but was actually canceled months prior.
I had another great visit with Stephanie Prater the physician assistant. I would highly recommend her over any doctor. She always takes the time to address all my concerns even though I can be a little scattered at times. She truly understands patient care!
We had my son's physical scheduled for today awhile ago with Dr. Zara . It seemed unusual that we haven't received a customary reminder from the office about upcoming apt, so I called the office yesterday to confirm today' apt. After spending 15 mins on hold,- because you can't just directly call the doctor's office ( although you think you are based on a number provided), -apparently you call Dignity's call center. Gentleman confirmed my son's apt and apologized that the phone reminder hasn't gone out yet, he also confirmed both phone numbers on file. Later in the evening there was another message from the doctor's office, but the person simply hung up after greeting with no message left. We have it saved. It's clear that the representative who called himself "Drew" doesn't know how to leave a voicemail, because the message stopped in the middle of his sentence. Needless to say, when we showed up to the apt we were Informed by the office staff that the doctor is out of office this week and the apt had been canceled a few months ago. I questioned who confirmed my son's apt yesterday and whether they left a note in the chart about interaction. Front office ladies tried to tell me they had wrong numbers on file. (How did they leave a message for me if they had the wrong number on file?) Later on that day, I tried to call the call center ( another 13 mins wasted on hold ) and the lady didn't know how to find the documented phone interaction from the day before, when their representative claimed our appointment was confirmed. This is not the first time we have had bad experience with Dignity's phone lines. But the worst thing, is that we both took time off work to come to the apt that we had no idea was canceled. We went out of our way to make sure that the appointment was scheduled and the call center employees totally failed to give us basic information. Very inconsiderate and terrible reflection on customer service. No respect for patient's time.
Theres a rude older woman receptionist with small tattoo under her eye on the 2nd floor reception desk that gives off bad vibes, hence the negative review, awful customer service. Its tol bad theyre hiring people like this one that should not b3 working in customer service at all!I really like medical team otherwise, they are always with good attitude and very helpful.
