Update: They've started to make room for more machines and fix the mirrors, which is neat. Everything else I said before is the same, except I got an email from the owner that said you can use the towels from the sauna/cold plunge as long as you return them. It's something. I will say I miss the old morning crew because the music/TVs at 3-5 a.m. are always off everywhere and you have to remind the guy to turn them on. It's awkward when you forget your earbuds, my dude. Ya know?
Overall good machine options. The premium membership is worth it for the private area and saunas/cold plunge. I just wish they sold or provided bath towels in the locker rooms and allowed you to rent a locker. Like, if you want a cash grab then that's what they should be doing to compete with luxury gyms. No one seems to use the showers otherwise. They always have signs that they'll throw away your stuff if you leave them.
Also, maybe clean the saunas a little better... They're just smelly a lot of the time.

A decent welcoming gym environment. Some days it's not too overcrowded but some other days it can be overbearing with tripods, dirty towels and sweat on equipment is too much of an itch to ignore. There is enough equipment to get you through a conventional workout but I wish there was more variety because there is too much redundancy in the archetype (example : too many flat bench stations ) They should rearrange some of the less commonly used and replace with more functional parts. The newly El Cajon location has been supplied with new equipment and that location seems to get more love than the Chula Vista location; safe to say it's time for a remodel. The price of the membership can be debatable for pros and cons; $25-30 to start is not excessively expensive not as cheap as PF or Chuze but in the mid-tier with LA Fitness and 24 but given the lack of variety of equipment like I mentioned earlier I expected more for the membership I'm paying. They do also offer a cafe in the adjacent building and as well as a well being fit program that houses its own equipment in a secluded area but you must be a member to get access and pay a separate plan for the well being program and the program costs $80 (not included in the standard base plan) I would only sign up if you live near within the area , if you don't mind seeing the abundance of several tripods on nearly every machine and being able to deal with the overcrowding the gym can get at crunch hours.

Workers at the front desk so meant and always in the cell phone. Housekeeping ladies go inside of the men's lockers they don't care if we are using the urinals or getting dress. The gym closes at 9 pm on Saturdays and the last one Angelina turned the lights off 10 minutes before 8 pm. Said was closed for holiday hours. They don't have any announcement about it

Love the Gym itself and have been coming here for years but the Customer service sucks and ruins the gym experience they don’t even look at you when you buy stuff, they’re rude especially today with that guy and red hair girl and they roll their eyes at you for no reason. They really need to learn how to show the smallest amount of customer service/ manners. Sucks y'all allow this behavior.

My husband and I are avid gym goers and wanted to try out this new gym. Unfortunately they don’t do a free day pass, and you have to pay to try out the gym. They don’t even give you a tour before trying it out. The machines are old, everything is crammed, and the staff seem extremely stuck up and rude. I would recommend EOS over this gym.

My name is Andrew, and I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Adrian for helping me resolve my recent issue. I’ve been dealing with some personal matters that caused me to pause my account, and Adrian went above and beyond to assist me. I really appreciate the entire staff for being so understanding and supportive. As soon as I take care of what I need to, I’ll definitely be back at the gym. Thank you all for being amazing!

Has anyone else noticed these things? Areas of improvement, in my opinion.
1. Weekends closed at 9. If any day of the week, weekends should have longer hours. Google maps says its open 24 hours, thats a lie. Im a Former 24 Hour Fitness member, I frequently workout late nights.
2. Are they scavenging for weights? I see many mixed weight types and are low in number for certain ones. I can never find a matching 35 pounders.
3. Old and outdated water fountains. Most if not all gyms have the bottle refilled and some type of indicator that the water is filtered.
4. Poor air circulation. I'm assuming the Aircon if broken rn.
