Nightmare. I sent in my stuff, Hal sent me the filing to sign, and then he contacted me that he had e-filed my taxes. No so. After 1 full month I became concerned so I checked with FTB and IRS and they had no record of my taxes being filed. I called him, emailed him, texted him and no response. 1 week later and still no response. I finally filed them myself on Free Tax USA and they sailed thru. Not recommended...

Laura is deeply knowledgeable, you can tell she has a lot of experience! She is willing to try to find ways in which she can help you out. (Not a miracle worker, either! When you owe, you owe ??) but she is so honest and direct when she needs to be and answers any questions you may have with ease. Very professional, been going for three years now and I know she will be my tax lady for a long time. Thank you, Laura!

Met with Hal and turned in my forms.... Then I never heard back! I have left 17 messages for Hal with Georgia. She says they don't have my paperwork.... Worst incompetence I've ever come across. They will lose your filing. They won't call you back. They will make every excuse as to why. No effort will be made for you. First and last accidental time I'll use them. Don't bother.

I experienced Asian Hate in this place. A 90 lb delicate Asian lady with a newborn baby, got yelled at in his office, right before Mother's Day. I ended up feeling so uncomfortable and vulnerable of the way I was treated. Hal Richard, the guy you are gonna be talking to, is extremely racist and shows no respect to woman. If you are white, then you have no problem being here, but if you are people with colors, think twice before you walk in. If you are a woman, don't come to this office to experience his rudeness towards you. The office is filled with junks; old, aged, dusty household items are sitting everywhere on the floor. Those two female receptionists are nice, but Hal has some kind of attitude. Just because I didn't mention about my father and he assumed my father passed away. He is so rude and unprofessional. You never assume things when it comes to filing taxes. There are a lot of good tax preparers/consultants who can provide better quality services.

It's a very low key and covert building . The atrium is quiet as a church , and wonderfully overtaken by foliage. Is this a secretive financial Operations bldg located in the coastal southern Chula Vista tropics of California ? You better believe . James Bond vibes 100%. Like being on a movie set . Georgia and Hal are so lovely and nice ! The office is super quiet . I always get a pen and paper when speaking with Hal . He has a lot of knowledge of course. Call it getting given a "chicken wing" bc I always leave this office much wiser than before ! Now I have another 365 days to hustle , Do better . Hopefully Make more ! But most importantly, keep it consistent ! Thanks again Tax Medic Chula Vista !!!
