About Windsor Chico Care Center

Windsor Chico Care Center is a nursing home that, despite its dated building, is known for its amazing and compassionate staff. The employees, including Katrina, AJ, Krista, Alex, Dave, and Madon, are described as very kind and helpful. The facility is smaller in size, which works well for the residents, and is clean without any unpleasant odors. The staff is dedicated to providing excellent care, and residents feel loved, safe, and that their lives have been extended due to the wonderful care they receive. Although the facility can be fast-paced and low-staffed at times, the staff always maintains a welcoming and positive attitude, making it a great place to work.

While some staff members are caring & attentive there are serious issues in care. Facility is beyond needing updates. Check this place out thoroughly before a loved one or friend is placed there.

My mom has been a resident for a number of years at Windsor Chico Care Center. The facility is smaller which works well for my mom. The facility is clean and does not have an unpleasant odor that is common in some nursing homes. The staff is very helpful and caring. My mom feels very loved and safe! When I visit, the staff is always kind and respectful.I truly believe that my mom's life has been extended due to the wonderful care she has received at Windsor Chico Care Center! It takes very special people to provide care for older people residing in nursing homes. I am so thankful and appreciative to all the great staff working at Chico Care Center!!

The staff was friendly but very busy, sometimes too busy to do their jobs to the full extent. I believe they need to offer more one on one attention to their patients. I believe the patients should not be left unattended for extended period of time, the staff needs to check on their patients more often. For a patient that couldn't feed themself the staff should of helped, the days family couldn't come for a visit are the days the patient went without eating or drinking. To me is seems like the staff truly only cares about their paychecks not actually helping the patients.
