The Chico VA Clinic offers a wide range of medical and ancillary services, including primary care, audiology, laboratory, mental health, nutrition, otolaryngology (ENT), pharmacy, social work, and women's health. Dermatology services are provided via telemedicine. The clinic is located in a commercial center adjacent to the VA Readjustment Counseling Service, Chico Vet Center.
The clinic has an outstanding team of healthcare providers and staff who care about the well-being of their patients. While patients may occasionally see a provider they are not completely satisfied with, the overall experience is excellent, and the clinic is praised for its quality of care. Patients have reported that they have never been treated like "just a barcode" and that they have received better care at the Chico VA Clinic than anywhere else, regardless of the cost.
This VA is one of the most helpful and Vetran Service oriented i have been too. Yes it's small but it packs a punch. If the can't get it done there, they don't hesitate to work with Community care. I believe they are understaffed but they do the best they can. Thank you for all you've done for me! Life is good today which i NEVER thought possible!

Can they do everything there? Of course not, they’re just a clinic.
Can you walk in without an appointment and be seen immediately? Of course not, but you will be seen.
Will you occasionally see a provider that you’re not happy with? Absolutely, I once saw a physician that I was, shall we say, LESS than pleased with- but as presently constituted, it’s an outstanding team.
I can’t remember getting better care anywhere else at any price….and I’ve never been treated like just a barcode.
Staff is good. I like Dr Dorjee, but every month I have a very hard time getting him to sign off on my pain meds. I've had surgery on both hips 2 times on my lumbar, c-spine. Currently fighting small cell lung cancer. It only takes a few seconds to sign off my meds.
