“This is an establishment that I took two of my former dogs to over 30 years ago. I have a new puppy and she’s back with them as well. They give very thorough examinations and they go over each item in detail on the invoice until you understand. The office is clean! Very clean. You’d think you were there for a human. HOWEVER, This is what I expect from any hospital human or animal. It makes you feel very comfortable. And the knowledgeable staff is very friendly, informative, and the doctors and staff provide information in layman’s terms. They spend enough time with you to ensure you are comfortable and fully informed. I’m so glad to be back with a professional and caring animal hospital. And to be back with MY Avalon Animal and Bird Hospital! And I say many thanks to them, and to those reading this review, make your appointment now for your fur baby, feathered baby, or whatever baby you have. You won’t regret it. Oh, and the comments you may read about not being able to go inside is false. They may have gone during the pandemic and was not allowed in. Only the pet. But you absolutely ? can go inside. As you should. And I was placed in a very clean room with my Roxi. So I’m not sure where they get that from. They do have signs posted for drop offs or pick ups, but that sign is for those with disabilities or who can’t walk in. I hope that clears up some of the misleading post. Because I had to call them once there because I read the post and then saw the signs and I almost didn’t go. I’m so glad I did my own investigation because that is not the experience I remember from my past visits with my former pets. And they still had the records on both of my former pets! That was really over 30 years ago. I had both of those dogs when my daughter was a young child and she’s 37 now. And it’s the same warm, friendly, informative services I remember. Judge for yourself. You’ll be glad you did.“

“We had a really good experience at Primary Care Animal Hospital. Our dog started having blood in her urine and was trying to pee but nothing would come out. Our regular vet initially gave antibiotics and medication, and he said if it happens again, we should take her to the hospital for more test as he was thinking there was something in her bladder like stones. When the symptoms returned a week later, we knew we had to take her to the hospital. Since our usual clinic doesn’t offer urgent care, we searched and found this hospital on Google.

They were able to see us the same day. The front desk staff was very kind and welcoming, and even though the place is currently remodeling, everything still felt organized and efficient. They performed an X-ray and urinalysis, found a bladder stone, and clearly explained the situation and treatment options. Because the stone was too large to pass naturally, surgery was recommended. They walked us through the procedure, provided a clear estimate, and scheduled surgery for the very next day.

The entire visit took about 3 hours, and we felt our dog was in very good hands the whole time. She is now on the road to recovery, and we’re so grateful for the care she received. We also appreciate that this hospital is closer to home — we’ve definitely found our new vet.

“I love Dr. Traci she is the best. I feel at ease knowing I'm leaving my little Dude in knowledgeable and loving hands. Every employee I have had contact with has made me feel like family. They are so kind. I would highly recommend taking your loving pet here. I know I would never think of taking my precious little Dude anywhere else. UPDATE Everyone at Ohana Veterinary Clinic is exceptional. The receptionists the doctors the assistants. I have never felt more comfortable when leaving Dude in the hands of Dr. Traci or anyone at Ohana. The love that everyone gives is rare. I took my little dog Dude for an appointment. He has been coming here all his life. It was an exceptionally hot day. I was surprised but not really surprised because I know the staff here at Ohana Veterinarian clinic is always thinking about your precious pet. They had put out a fresh bowl of water for my Dude. “i feel like i know of a hidden treasure coming to this place and i almost don’t want to write this review lest anything changes when an influx of people flock! but, you need to know. this place is legitimately the best vet ever. not only are they open basically all day, but their prices are very reasonable, and more than that their staff—especially Chloe, a caretaker for boarding—is phenomenal. i have a deaf blind 75lb puppy w lots of energy and they figured out a way to safely entertain him while i leave him for dayboarding. he literally needs to be dragged out of the facility bc he wants to stay! i just love it here and want to give each and every staff person from receptionist to vet a shout out. “I had to take my precious cat Coco to Dr.Lynch as an emergency today. The whole staff very professional, caring and considerate. I was so upset because my cat was not urinating in his box and it had been two days. They did the test they determine that it wasn’t a blockage and I have to say the visit was extremely reasonable. Dr. Lynch never tried to upsell me. If you’re looking for a vet that truly likes what they’re doing I would come to this Office. Dr. Lynch is truly a dying breed of veterinarians.“

Dr. Streiber went far above and beyond for our family during one of the most gut wrenching experiences we’ve ever faced with our dog, Silver. From the moment we received her osteosarcoma diagnosis, he treated us with extraordinary compassion, patience, and honesty.

Dr. Streiber spent multiple hour-long phone calls with my wife and me, carefully explaining Silver’s diagnosis, the possible progression of the disease, and the various treatment options available. He never rushed us, never spoke in vague terms, and never made us feel like “just another case.” Instead, he took the time to truly educate us—so we could make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions that felt right for Silver and for our family.

What meant the most to us was how deeply personal his care felt. “I find that Beach Vet offers services at great prices. I really value Dr. Ena Valikov's expertise and years of experience when diagnosing health issues for my two cats.

Recently booked one of my cats for oral surgery to remove diseased teeth with a provider Dr. Val recommended, and they provided great care. But my cat experienced some troubling side effects due to the topical anesthesia used (Zorbium) and, when he'd otherwise returned to his normal self, he still wasn't walking with a regular gait post surgery, but scooting along his hind legs. I wasn't able to book a follow-up with one of their vets fast enough, so I turned to Beach Vet.

Dr. Val was initially worried about intervening diagnostically with the outcome of a procedure performed elsewhere, but ultimately kindly agreed to check over my cat to ensure he wasn't dealing with something that could be remedied quickly and simply, like constipation (a Zorbium side effect). Just consulting with Dr. Val really eased my mind and using the small amounts of baby aspirin as she recommended seemed to speed the recovery of his mobility. Now he's back to 100% and healthier than ever.“
