“We love America River Care Home! Our Japanese mother has been a resident there for over 5 1/2 years and she's so happy there. The facility is always clean and the residents are very well taken care of! The home makes it a point to celebrate all holidays and birthdays with special dinners and birthday cakes. They also play game and do a variety of crafts with the residents to keep them alert and engaged. We are so happy and feel blessed to have found such a wonderful place for our mother. “I'm a breast cancer patient in treatment and have had lymphedema that started in my left leg and was spreading to my right. My oncologist sent me Vanderbilt and the treatment has been amazing. The swelling and accompanying pain in my left leg is reduced dramatically and now my right leg no longer swells. After a couple of falls and neuropathy (caused by chemo) John worked my balance, did physical therapy on my injured neck and shoulder and the improvement has Ben fantastic. He even taught me how to use my 4-wheeled walker more effectively and to fall, to help limit injuries if I fall again. John is certified in breast cancer physical therapy, after my double mastectomy, he worked on my stiff muscles and shoulders and gave me exercises to do at home. I can't say enough the value of the services they offer. I've met several other patients who are also very satisfied and have been coming for treatment throughout their cancer treatment. I give them a big thumbs up.“
