As a 68-year-old woman, I wanted to improve my balance and strength, and after a year and a half, I have definitely improved. I'm thankful to my daughter for encouraging me to join.
I really appreciate the knowledgeable and fun instructors who challenge me while also making modifications when needed. Although I'm usually the oldest person there, I feel very comfortable because the atmosphere is friendly, supportive, and welcoming.
We work hard, have fun, and I've gained both strength and confidence. Who knew punching a bag could be so much fun?
I'm entirely grateful for the martial arts training I have received under Masters Jonathan & Taren Peschke over the years. The classes I've attended have helped me get in the best shape of my life! The training has also increased my mental clarity, focus, and perseverance and has even had a lasting effect with my career, family and even my down time.
I find that I don't go a day without throwing more than a few kicks at home. Taekwondo will always be a major part of my life and I couldn't recommend Family Taekwondo Academy enough for all it has helped me to accomplish!
