    Shame on you, Montage. I called to get a new patient appointment for my husband who will be 80 in a few months, the first available was November 30, 2027!!! This left me with an angry and helpless feeling that we really don't have competent health care from Montagedoctors. Our doctor decided to leave Montage and the unfortunate part is that we followed up immediately and still could not get an appointment the end of 2027. I am mortified beyond belief of this availability for a primary care physician. My husband served our Country in Vietnam and made it, only to be treated as a second class citizen with Montage. Plus, we have Blue Cross private insurance and pay a high price for it only to NOT have access to a primary care doctor.

    I scheduled and CONFIRMED an initial PCP visit with montage through their portal, using my own insurance to find a provider that accepts my plan. I arrived today for the confirmed appointment and they could not check me in. When the person at the front desk looked up my information, she told me that they chose to cancel my appointment because their doctors were prioritizing ONE specific insurance carrier only. The soonest they would schedule me was the end of April in 2027, which directly violates patient rights, which clearly state that a PCP visit is to occur within 10 days of outreach. Montage is the main medical group in this area and they operate this way in all of the local cities so I have no other option but to wait, when I have several documented medical and mental health conditions including a recent surgery and possible autoimmune issue that now will be neglected. The horrendous part was being told that patients with the other insurance were given earlier appointments. This is blatant discrimination, unprofessional and unethical behavior.

    My mom's nurse Julie F told her that she can only help her OUTSIDE of the insurance (and this facility), for cash. So unprofessional..!

    This is a terrible hospital. My family just moved in. My husband and I went to see a doctor for the first time. My husband has diabetes and will soon have to see a doctor to prescribe medicine. The doctor asked us to do a blood test to check our blood concentration. If the blood is too concentrated, he can recommend blood donation. About 20 days after we had the blood drawn, we received a fee of $1,700. After that, the insurance was deducted (we have Anthem medical insurance). I can't believe that we didn't receive any reports from the hospital or written notices from the doctor about our health status during the period when we received this bill. This is the first time we have seen the doctor of this hospital and he didn't tell us how to check the report. During this period, my husband didn't receive the medicine prescribed by the doctor, so he went to the hospital to find the staff the day before yesterday. They replied that the doctor would contact us on Monday, but they still didn't contact us. (The doctor wrote a new prescription for medicine) From 08/24/2024 to 20/12/2024, we didn't get any information about our health from this hospital. But I received a second reminder for such an irresponsible hospital and doctor. I have the responsibility to say that I don't want other patients who don't know this hospital to experience what we have.

    NOT happy with Dr Hadi, we fired him as family doctor. Why? 1) He showed us a printout of some lab results, but when I asked to get a copy or photograph it - he flat out refused ?!? 2) Never cared about or listened to any of the symptoms we described ?!? There were other reasons that led up to his firing, but that was the trigger for us to find another doctor. Thankfully, we now have another doctor who is competent, listens and generally makes rational diagnoses and recommendations.

    My father receives care from Montage. It has been a terrible experience. Hospital discharge planning has been inadequate and disorganize. Montage is also affiliated with Hospice of The Central Coast. Referrals are made by doctors from Montage and in my fathers case was done during his latest discharge just a few months ago. I believe he has been inappropriately placed on hospice. He has improved significantly since being placed on hospice yet somehow they have managed to extend his eligibility. They attempted to send dad to Hospice three years ago and at the time I was able to make the decision to decline. Seems like living a quality life for three years is evidence that it would have been an error to be in hospice back then yet the recruitment was aggressive. I believe that in my fathers case Hospice has been predatory and that Montage has helped to contribute to this. I urge you to be proactive. Ask questions and do research before allowing Montage and its affiliate Hospice Of the Central Coast to enroll you or a loved one. Beware of these organizations.
