I really don’t like leaving one star reviews, and I’m willing to change my review with the situation changes, but I don’t want anybody else get scammed?
I called La Costa Handy Man a few months back for a small electrical job,
I was referred to their employee, Cory who would call me back in a couple hours.
Cory showed up for our business charge at $300 to take a look at the work, and said the work needed to be done would be about $1500 total and that he charges it upfront
The job requires either a large ladder or a lift which was supposed to be included in the $1500 I paid
Vaccinated against COVID - and still wears a mask and distances from customers! Today Matt put together a kitchen island (bought online and in a heavy box) for me, put together a large outdoor composter bin, replaced a patio light, replaced a lighted indoor switch, adjusted my outdoor gate, lopped off a few heavy tree branches, and even picked the ripe lemons off the tree up my back slope because I can't get up there. Matt can get so much done in a short amount of time that I feel I'm getting a bargain hiring him. He will return in a week to replace several indoor light switches, install the kitchen island, move up a very heavy wall mirror above my fireplace 3" higher, fix a kitchen handle, replace a kitchen ceiling light, and anything else I put on my "to do" list before then. Matt arrives on time and brings all the necessary tools and ladders. He's very respectful of the elderly, disabled, and veterans. So it's a real pleasure having Matt fix stuff around my house and I will continue to hire him in the future and recommend him to friends.

Matt and his team are extremely responsive, communicative, personable, and maintain professional appearance at all times (which is harder to find in a handyman than you would think) and especially important my field of work. I own multiple properties in North Country and have had 100's of work orders go through La Costa Handyman. They are constantly not only WOWing me, but my many tenants as well. It also really helps in my line of work that they have a work order/invoice management system that tracks everything and even sends out appointment reminders and invoice...read full review
