Had a wonderful massage from May today. My partner always asks for Coco who also give an amazing massage. I can't understand the negative reviews on this site. Yes, it is a no frills spa but the masseurs are experienced and it is half the price of any other spa. I am happy to give them the tip of $20 for an excellent massage! I paid 3x this amount for a mediocre massage at the Estancia hotel in LA Jolla. Plus the fact that they dont speaking much English is an advantage; no awkward conversation during the massage. They will respond to less or more pressure. You won't get a better massage anywhere for the price you pay here!
Initially it was awkward. There was no one at reception. It took 20 minutes before the massage started.
But then.....
Ms. Lucy did an amazing job. I asked for medium to hard pressure to work on my achy shoulders.
She did a splendid job, loosening up the right spots. Perfect level of pressure, nice variety in massage movements. I received the full hour massage.
The facility is clean, calm background music.

Called at 10AM for a couples massage as I saw a deal on their Facebook. They were able to take us in at 1230PM. The massage was exceptional! Will definitely be back each time I’m in Carlsbad. They have gift certificates and packages too.
For reference: my bf and I are 26 years old very healthy so we had no sensitive areas to warn them about. We felt like we left feeling comfortable and relaxed, not injured.
