“KJ Home Builders is the best in the business! We had our initial consultation with Kevin and he treated us like family from the very beginning. He sat down with us and then we did a walk through together. He gathered information while we discussed what we wanted to do. He provided valuable information that helped us get a better understanding of the entire renovation process. He then scheduled a visit with Diego. Diego was great to work with as well. During the second visit, Kevin & Diego got measurements of everything and explained the next steps. As Kevin worked with his suppliers to design our home, Diego purchase all the preparatory material they needed. Before we knew it, the project was underway. This team is great at sticking to schedule and meeting deadlines. The entire team is made up of passionate hard workers. Gio, Rene, Cesar, Eric, Chris, George, Arturo, and the list goes on. They always showed up with a good attitude which is hard to come by these days. Needless to say, the projects were completed in a timely manner and we are now enjoying our freshly remodeled home. He broke down the wall, demolished the closet and added all the needed supports to make it safe. “Tom is fantastic. After our five week old Frigidaire refrigerator died, Electrolux sent out one of their guys to diagnose it, and he said he could not do the repair for three weeks, and we'd have to live with it while we waited for parts to arrive (but that's another review for Electrolux if I ever have the stomach for it). After too many phone calls and hours on hold with Electrolux, not to mention a continuously evolving complex situation with the parts they had ordered, they ended up connecting me with Tom. He was phenomenal, and was able to come out within a couple of days (much better than the three weeks given by the first guy). He even said that he had the parts on hand that Electrolux was shipping, so he would be able to do the repair without waiting for them to arrive. He took a look at everything and informed me that the parts and the compressor replacement that the first guy said we'd need were mostly unnecessary. Tom was able to fix the fridge in minutes and it's been running perfectly since. He even offered to come pick up the parts that later arrived from Electrolux, so I didn't have spare refrigerator parts sitting around. All around, he was the best part of this whole fiasco. I noticed that there were a bunch of comments about his demeanor, and I have to say that I found Tom very pleasant, communicative, and helpful to work with. You could tell he was frustrated with the way Electrolux had approached this whole process, but so was I. I would imagine it's got to be tough contracting for a company like that. I don't think that should be a personal reflection of Tom.“
