My dog is a patient of Dr Hedden and when my dog was not herself, we called central animal hospital and were able to get her in for an appointment the next day (they actually had a cancellation and could have seen her that day, but we were not available at the time to bring her in) Although I had suspicions she (my dog) had something caught in her throat, over the phone the symptoms I described made the doctor think it could possibly be kennel cough, but after bringing her in and upon further assessment, Dr Hedden was concerned it was something more and wanted to have lab work, and XRay for further evaluation and diagnosis. Always happy with the folks here at Central! I've worked in vet med since 2007, but I needed a new GP for my pets when I moved to the area since I work for a specialist who doesn't offer GP services.
My dog has had a set of rather vague and nonspecific signs going on this year. Dr. Yanik has always taken the time to go over my options, make sure we're moving forward with testing that makes sense and I can afford, and let me know when it was time to see a specialist since whatever is going on with my dog isn't fitting into any particular box.

I have been going to Central Animal Hospital for about 18 years. Everyone who works here is so kind and caring. I love Dr Hedden as she has been our primary doctor. All the staff are wonderful. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else.
