Before we started, she didnt want to participate any extra curricular activities and was having trouble in school and with bullying. When we started she spent 45 days crying and watching the class from the side of the mat because she was too shy to participate. Master Shin and all of the instructors took the time to gain her trust and she has grown to love coming to the studio and working hard. In just 11 months my daughter has worked hard and earned 4 belts and gained lifelong skills that transfer into the real world. Shes earned awards and competed in competitions but nothing compares to the confidence she has in herself - the growth has been exponential in her personal, school and taekwondo career. My kids (10 and 7) just enrolled and they really enjoy learning TaeKwonDo and being active during the class.
