This property is fun, unique and in a great location. Front desk staff are absolutely fantastic - welcoming and helpful. Rooms are neat/tidy, cleaned every day and the bathroom is well appointed with new towels. The only advice is to go for a second floor room-quieter and my friends on the first floor had insects in their room. The restaurant/bar is great - good food, lots of delicious choices and fun drinks. The spa offers unique mud baths if that is of interest. Other treatment rooms are somewhat small and robes are a bit frayed which is a tiny thing that can be remedied. Spa staff were very nice and capable. Super cute hotel with a great vibe. Kid friendly yet so calming. Local attractions close by. Hot springs. Mineral pools (multiple). Spa. Big rooms. Free oils for a diffuser and the most amazing smelling soap, shampoo and conditioner. The staff here are awesome as well
Doc Wilkinson's is a casual and comfortable spa retreat nestled in the hills of Napa and Sonoma that caters to adults and offers distractions for children. I visited again for an alone getaway and took advantage of the spa, pools, and on-site eatery. I highly recommend to anyone returning to Calistoga or visiting for the first time. It will continue to remain on my list of to-dos again and again.
