About Baths At Romans Spa
Baths At Romans Spa offers a unique and relaxing spa experience in a well-maintained, beautiful setting. The professional staff strive to provide top-notch customer service, although there have been some reports of a less-than-friendly attitude from the reception team. The facilities are clean and well-kept, featuring a pool, jacuzzis, and a steam room. The mud bath and soaking tub treatments are a signature offering, providing a traditional Calistoga experience with the signature sulphur smell and heat. Guests have generally been pleased with the quality of the treatments, noting that staff members like Liz and Justin are highly skilled and attentive. Many have found the massages unforgettable, with one guest feeling completely relaxed and loose afterward. While the overall ambiance has a more old-fashioned, "funky" vibe rather than a modern, polished feel, many visitors appreciate the authentic Calistoga charm. The spa has successfully maintained its original character, avoiding pressure to renovate into a more high-end, trendy establishment. Despite a few concerns about the front desk staff, most guests leave Baths At Romans Spa feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The beautiful grounds, clean facilities, and skilled therapists contribute to a unique escape that blends traditional treatments with a charming, historic atmosphere. Guests have also suggested trying the sound bath for a total relaxation experience, highlighting the nurturing service from the staff and manager.
It was amazing.... must try.
My husband Louis & I had the best massages. The mud and mineral tubs were incredibly detoxifying and relaxing. We both felt so revitalized . Our deep tissue massages were exceptional! Can't wait to go back!
We had girls' weekend in Napa Valley and enjoyed spending a morning here for a mud bath and massage. I wish I booked a longer one with Gemini. The place is small but very cute and the service wonderful. I just wish there was a bigger bathroom or a separate changing room after the massage but don't let this deter you it was great.
