I had just flown into San Francisco International airport at 8 in the morning and needed a shampoo and blow dry for a memorial service. Sam got me in right away and transformed my hair. He is undeniably talented. He didn’t even need to use a curling iron to add curls as he managed to do so using a blow dryer and round brush. My hair has bounce and volume and I couldn’t be happier. He is now my go to whenever I come back to visit family and friends. Thank you!!!

I had a hair color and cut appointment at 10am and once i got in i met the owner who was the one doing my hair. He sat me down and asked me detailed questions about what i wanted and gave some suggestions to me as well which i LOVED. he offered me tea or coffee and got straight to work. It may have been a long 4 hours in the chair but he made sure I felt comfortable and also made sure i knew everything he was doing. This was my first time at Salon 1419, and I will definitely come back!! Owner-stylist Sam did a fantastic job of rescuing my hair from a terrible/uneven previous cut, taking off just the amount of length I wanted, and creating lovely soft layers that really bring out my curls. He is super friendly and very meticulous. The shampoo was really thorough and relaxing, too -- I love a good, gentle scalp massage!
