I've now used Ortiz HVAC in three different houses, and every time, Alex and his team go above and beyond. They are reasonably priced, reliable, on-time, detail-oriented, and super professional. For two houses, they did a full replacement of the HVAC system, and the process was so seamless, including city inspections. In my last interaction with Alex, he came out last-minute to diagnose an issue with our smart thermostat, saving us over the heat wave weekend! Alex makes sure to take care of his customers, and I wouldn't call anyone else for my HVAC needs.
In 2021, our Carrier wonder-furnace failed right at the peak of COVID panic, and Alex made time in his schedule to come out and diagnose it very soon after I called. It was apparently a very unusual problem with these furnaces, but his experience and expertise with these exact models led him to the correct diagnosis before very long. New furnace needed. Even better, Alex worked with Carrier to get a really big chunk of the replacement cost covered under warranty. It's now room-temperature in our home for the first time in 13 days -- which, of course there are bigger problems out there. But we will be celebrating tonight in normal inside clothing.

Ortiz HAC just finished our renovation and while we are thrilled with our heat pump, we're equally happy about our experience with the company and its people. Ours was a challenging job, in a tough permit environment. Things did not always go as planned. But the Ortiz team was here to get it done, and explain our options to us in patient detail as we had last minute concerns. Today we closed our permit successfully and Mr. Ortiz was here to represent, and then answer our questions about another, unrelated improvement we might like to do.
