Toluca Lake Health Center is a medical facility that many patients find pleasant due to its short wait times, friendly doctors, and relaxed atmosphere. The parking structure is generally not crowded. Patients appreciate the convenience of the center, but some have had negative experiences with the communication process. Efforts to contact the manager for assistance finding a specific doctor have been unsuccessful despite multiple attempts. Another patient described a frustrating situation where they arrived for an appointment on time but were turned away due to traffic delays. This resulted in a lengthy delay before their next appointment. While most staff members are described as pleasant, one phone operator has been noted as being unpleasant by patients.
In many ways, this place is great. No lines, nice doctors, chill atmosphere. The parking structure is never too busy. Basically, a really casual doctor visit guaranteed. However, there's one phone operator who is very unpleasant. Just one. If you're reading this, you know who you are. And if you're the person who hired her, you made a mistake. Have a talk with her. Give her a candy or something. I don't know, you decide what to do about the situation. Tell her I took a star off this review just because of her.
Came here to finally review this place after being a regular patient for 11 years. My most recent experience made me even more grateful for them. I'm shocked by all the negative reviews. I have never had a bad experience with making appointments, checking in, nurses, or doctors. Dr. So kind of rushes me but she does listen. I've also had a good experiences with Dr. Bera. They also both reply to my messages in the app promptly. Parking is easy, facilities are nice, I never have to wait long, and the blood lab is right there so you don't have to go to a 2nd location. The people in the lab are great and I've never had a problem with them finding a vein. I normally go here for my annual physical and referrals to OBGYN, dermatologist, etc. But the other week I had a painful UTI and I popped in without an appointment at 6pm! I was in and out with a test and an antibiotic prescription within 40 minutes. The front desk woman, nurse, and Dr. Meshefedjian were absolute angels. They were so kind to me and I got exactly the care I needed. Felt better after first dose of antibiotic that night. I am beyond grateful to have Motion Picture insurance and access to this clinic.
My first time at Toluca Lake was pleasant. I went in for an urgent DX. Arrived early since I was a new patient and was seen in a timely manner. Dr. Opene was the physician who saw me and I couldn't be happier. He listen to all of my concerns and explained in detail what he was suggesting/prescribing and why. The gal who took my blood was kind & friendly. Overall my first impression of MPTF Toluca Lake was awesome. Let's hope this quality of care continues.
