About Shapes Brow Bar
Shapes Brow Bar is a local threading service that has faced some challenges in recent years. Previously operating a kiosk location, they moved to a storefront with plans for expanded treatments, but the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their operations. While most clients have been satisfied with the threading services, particularly praising the skill of the staff, some recent visits have been frustrating, with issues around unclear policies, long wait times, and pushy sales tactics. Despite these setbacks, the business still maintains a loyal customer base who hope they can return to their former kiosk setup and continue providing quality brow services.
This Shape Brow Bar location is gone. I wish they had returned to their kiosk, like the location in Sherman Oaks, which is open as usual.
They moved their operations from the kiosk to the store because they had big plans for more treatment options, but shortly after, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and they never recovered.
I have been a client since 2018, and I've been mostly satisfied with the threading service. My go-to was Rachik!
Couldn’t originally find the spot because the name on the outside doesn’t match the name showing up on Google Maps or even the mall directory.
The lady who did my brows was super kind and did a great job!
Was a little sketched out though to find they don’t have an option to tip the threader when I paid with a card. And wasn’t given an option to tip over Venmo; only cash.
Also I was pushed heavily to purchase a gift card, even when I asked to just pay for the service. Ended up buying a gift card just so I could leave.
Normally I love this place but this last visit was very frustrating. I came in at 10am like their hours day and waited 15 mins and it never opened. I came back later that day and it was very busy which was fine and every had to sign in. A girl walked in and the person doing brows took her right away. I asked if they take appointments and was told no so I was very confused how the girl got to skip the line after I had been waiting for 30 mins already and my turn was next.
