This is a terrible company. Called them this morning to set up an appointment, the receptionist was rude and wouldn't give any kind of time frame as to how soon they would be able to come out. No idea how a company stays in business with this sort of customer service.

I would not recommend working with Sean or his team. I contacted them to replace the tub faucet cartridge in two bathrooms, with one specifically having a continuous water leak. I was clear that I needed the job done (without a water shut-off), as my building requires a week's notice for that. Sean assured me that 1) it could be done without a shut-off and 2) it would be completed within an hour at an hourly rate of $195, plus material costs. When his technician arrived, I was informed that a water shut-off would indeed be required to finish the job. He only managed to fix the other tub and then quoted me over $650 to return for the rest. To make matters worse, he left after shutting off the hot water, meaning only cold showers could be taken, and they refused to come back to resolve it despite multiple requests. I ended up in a worse situation than before, out $290, with no receipt provided for the parts--leading me to believe they may have overcharged. Overall, an unprofessional and frustrating experience.

Sean and his team of reliable and nice plumbers are fantastic. As a Realtor here in the City for over 25 years I have consistently referred them to my clients. They always get the job done and have a can do attitude while being honest and reliable and trustworthy. There are not enough stars to give them.

All I can say is Wow! Water was backing up into my garage due to a neighbors tree roots and within an hour of calling I spoke to Sean and he arranged to get his team to the house and cleared the drain. Highly professional, very nice and someone you feel immediately at ease with. Same is true for his team. Great price, great company. Eventually I'll need to replace a section pipe and will definitely be calling Sean!

I have used San Francisco Plumbing Company for YEARS and they are fantastic. They have installed my hot water heater, a toilet, a kitchen faucet and they have snaked and repaired drains. The piece de resistance was when I was trying to install a sliding trash/recycling bin system under my kitchen sink, but the plumbing configuration was in the way. DJ came up with a solution that was efficient (no need to cut a hole in the wall and move the plumbing) and got the job done. Their work is efficient and their pricing is also very reasonable. If you have any plumbing needs, I whole heartedly recommend calling SFPC.

My backyard drain backed up. I had dealt with another plumbing company prior, but they were rude to my dad. I called this one on a co-worker's recommendation. They sent out DJ--who was awesome. My dad mixes up his words and DJ listened to him patiently and filled in the blanks in his head on what he was saying. He was awesome. Sean ended up coming back to do more work. Totally fair price for all the work they did. We are considering doing a big fix--but Sean advised just keep doing a bandaid solution for as long as we could-do to the major cost and inconvenience of a big fix. Didn't push the huge costly job on us--LOVED that! DJ came back recently to fix a toilet...worked with my dad without me present and my dad was confident in the interaction and got everything fixed without my help. Very nice!!!!
