2264 Chanticleer Ave, Santa Cruz“Had a booster pump emergency, could not get a call back from original installer, called Rosenthal, they had a technician on site in less than an hour, got parts late on a Friday afternoon, came out and installed it all on Saturday, Dec 20! Saved me a bad Christmas.“

3020 Prather Ln, Santa Cruz“I learned two lessons from our latest plumbing issue: (1) Never hire a handyman to do a plumping job, even if it appears straightforward; and (2) call Amir at Anytime Plumbing -- he and his crack employee, James, were able to retrieve a busted off snake (caused by the above mentioned handyman) when other plumbers were unwilling to even try. I saved a lot of money not having to rip up concrete.“

I walked past the garage and saw water bleeding out from under the door like a bad omen. Opened it up—and there it was. Toilet paper drifting by. That slow-motion moment where your stomach drops and you know, with absolute clarity, that your day has just been hijacked.
This is the part where panic usually takes over. But I didn’t panic. I knew exactly who to call.
Redwood Pipe & Drain.
A human answered the phone, rare these days. Brittany. Calm. Focused. Compassionate in a way that tells you she’s handled chaos before. She said they were slammed—but she’d try. Not a script. Not a promise she couldn’t keep. Just honesty and effort.
Then Mike, the owner, called me himself. Talked through the possible causes. Didn’t sugarcoat it. Didn’t upsell me. Just steady reassurance from someone who knows the terrain and has seen worse.
Two hours later—Timothy showed up. No drama. No wasted motion. The right tools. The right attitude. He cleared the main line to the septic like someone who knows this job isn’t about pipes—it’s about consequences. Then he walked me through it all: root intrusions, line bellies, the slow betrayals underground that eventually come due.
We mapped it. Documented it. Made a plan for the future. And here’s the thing that really matters: it’s now 1:30 PM. From first call to full resolution—three hours. Done. Clean. Handled.
They didn’t just fix a plumbing problem. They saved my Airbnb booking for tomorrow. They saved my sanity. They restored order.
I don’t call plumbers often. But when I do, it’ll be Redwood Pipe & Drain. No question. No hesitation. Some people save the day with capes. These guys do it with drain snakes and integrity.“

2806 Soquel Ave # A, Santa Cruz“I've had a reverse osmosis drinking water I got from Clean Water Store in 2011, and now 13 years later, it needed a new tank, and I figured why not change the filter cartridges too while I'm at it. The staff were super helpful figuring out what I needed to order, the parts were all in stock, I went down and picked them up and it was like a 5-minute operation to change out all those components on my system - and I didn't even need any tools! Quality products, wonderful staff, and fast turn-around. Five stars!“

“So we had a underground water leak that one plumbing company said that in order to fix it, they needed to put down a new main line from the meter to the house. They bid $9500 for it. I called Greg after doing a little research and he was busy but after looking at the pictures said I could probably do it myself with a couple parts from the hardware store. He told me exactly what to get and exactly what to do, in great detail I might add. After the fix, I turned the water back on and guess what? NO MORE UNDERGROUND LEAK! It cost me $16 at the hardware store. Greg potentially saved me $9484. This guy is now my goto plumber. If I could give him 16 million stars for this review, I would! Really stoked to have an honest plumber to call on that honestly wants to help you, not help themselves!“
