My identity has returned! I had hair until I was 35 then it fell out. I was devastated. I ended up shaving my head because what I had looked ridiculous. Every time I looked in the mirror in the morning I was depressed. I hated the way I looked. I got the procedure done because everyone with hair said I looked fine. They don't understand the pain and low self esteem that goes with losing hair. Tina is wonderful who talked me into it. She's kind and funny and she understands what we are going through. She's been there for me throughout the year when I was concerned about pimples and patchy spots. My only regret is I waited so long. I'm 55 now. I kept saying I can't afford it. You can't afford not to do it. Get more jobs, get more women and people are looking at me in the eye when they talk to me instead of staring at my bald head. The bald jokes from my coworkers and friends were ha ha so funny not! Now guess what? No one makes fun of my baldness because I'm not bald anymore! Totally natural looking. The days of the corn field look are gone. In a way, I'm glad I waited because the FUE was invented instead of cutting a huge piece of scalp off and stitching the skin back together. Trust me do the FUE. You must have patience. Shock loss sucks and the ugly duckling stage sucks. You must realize hair grows slowly so it takes time to thicken and grow long. That's why they always say 12 months. However, I bet you'll be happy at 7-9 months. That's when I got my identity back. I look like I looked when I was 32 except older of course I'm 55 as I said. You pay for a nice car, nice clothes, nice things why not nice hair. Women love furry animals. They say to make you feel better it doesn't matter yet most are obsessed with their hair. It does matter. Sun protection, younger looking, better jobs you'll get and women. I love brushing my hair. I love the feeling of the wind blowing in my hair.
