Pet adoption with Berkeley Humane. Firstly, the staff is made up of volunteers that are very knowledgeable in the adoption process and deeply care for the animals. There are two rooms that houses the cats. I am not sure if there is a separate area for other animals. The cat areas were very clean and the cats themselves were very clean. During the process, you complete a check in form and someone walks you to the cats. Once you've decided, you go into a separate room with a staff to go over the paperwork. You are given documents including records of your newly adopted animal and a welcome bag with cat food. They prep your new family member in a cardboard box for a safe ride home. You can return your animal back anytime less the adoption fee. Check out their website for updated pets to adopt. Hooray for wonderful staff at Berkeley humane!

This is for the basic training class. I would not recommend the experience; it was not a good use of my time or resources. We had a switch in trainer halfway through the four classes, and the second one was better, but we had already far behind in the curriculum from the first trainer not being able to manage the class. It often felt like she was showing off her own dog's tricks instead of teaching us how to train our own dogs. The experience did not meet my expectations. I appreciate that they are inclusive of all dogs but it was too large of a class, and it may be best to offer some of the more reactive dogs private training sessions.
