its run by two asian ladies and they were very kind! she gave me tips on how to style and take care of my hair and followed what i asked for, very well. i love the haircut i got, and it was quite a decent price at $35 for ladies hair. I would definitely recommend this place!

I appreciate getting a minimal-fuss haircut where I can call ahead and come in usually with a half hour notice even on the weekend, and they take the time to check, double-check, and triple check every hair is even before they take the drape off. Parking is horrendous but I always give myself a little extra time to work that out.

Tldr : - fast service with no wait if you call ahead to confirm - precise cutting of bangs, protractor measurement included lol Been going to this salon since undergrad days in Berkeley ( shout-out to c/o 2019!) since I wanted to stay within a student budget. Haircut is now $35, without tip, for long hair. Called 1pm on a Sunday to ask for availability that afternoon, they were wide open so I was able to immediately get seated at 3pm. Let me tell you the kind lady who cut my hair not only checked twice if the length was too short before cutting it but also she took out a protractor!! A protractor!! To measure my bangs I guess in the K-pop style where they go up 2 inches...read full review
