I met Dr. A when I was 13 months pregnant with my second child and unable to walk or even sit due to what I later discovered was a ruptured disc in my lumbar region. While my HMO initially advised me to wait out the pain, offered opiate painkillers I was not comfortable taking, and recommended exercises I could not perform, Dr. A traveled to my home for my initial session and actually looked at my back and body. I started seeing Dr. Ariel when I was 33 weeks pregnant at the recommendation of my doula, after finding out my baby was breach. I received adjustments from her twice a week, and at my 36 week midwife appointment, I was delighted to learn baby was finally head down. I have no doubt that Dr. A’s care helped give baby the room he needed to turn. I had an unmedicated birth and baby and I returned to Dr. A around 8 weeks postpartum. I recently had my first chiropractic experience with Dr. Ariel at Flow Chiropractic, and it was fantastic! As someone who works in healthcare, I truly appreciate a thorough intake and a provider who takes the time to explain everything in detail. Dr. Ariel did exactly that, and I loved every minute of nerding out over the body with her. She is incredibly sweet, has a wealth of experience, and you can tell she has a genuine passion for what she does. I felt completely at ease and well taken care of throughout the entire session.
