Dropped off pants to be hemmed. I tried them on behind a little curtain she had in the corner. The (maybe owner) Soon was nice and pinned them. Will take about 4 days. $14 cash, but that’s fine. I paid first. Another spot nearby said similar price for the same hemming. I remember when hemming things was $5! Guess I’m old!
Just took some clothes to N & J cleaners for the first time. Very friendly and family owned . We talked to Norma the owner she made us feel welcome. She is in Norwalk and said they have been there for 11 years. They also do alterations. We will definitely be going back.
PROS: - The nicest aunty who will get your clothes pressed, cleaned, or altered in a jiffy. CONS: - None. PRO-TIP- After picking up or dropping off your dry cleaning, stop by next door at Grandma's Broasted Chicken and get yourself some finger lickin good fried chicken to take home!
