This past beautiful Sunday, an incredible group of veterans gathered at Solitude Healing Arts for a powerful morning of Restorative Yoga and Sound Therapy. It was more than just a chance to relax, it was a deeply therapeutic experience that provided healing, peace, and a sense of renewal. Through Sheila’s guided movement, breathwork, and soothing sound therapy, these veterans discovered new relaxation techniques to help manage stress, calm the mind, and restore balance. But beyond the practice itself, the experience fostered a sense of connection and camaraderie. New friendships were formed, stories were shared, and a strong sense of community was reinforced. A heartfelt thank you to Sheila for not only guiding us through this transformative session but also for opening up her beautiful studio to us. Her warmth, expertise, and generosity made this experience truly special. It was an unforgettable morning of healing, growth, and support—a reminder that none of us are alone on this journey.
I absolutely love all of the services I have gotten to enjoy so far at Solitude, and would especially recommend Sheila's pet reiki if you have a sick fur baby! Our elderly dog developed a tumor this summer and we did not want her to have to go through the harshness of chemotherapy or surgery. She could barely walk coming into the first healing session at Solitude and literally trotted out wagging her tail happily afterward. It was night and day!!! Sheila even offered to come treat her at home if needed and also made some great naturopathic recommendations for us to help with her recovery. We are so glad we entrusted the care of our beloved labrador to Solitude.
