I had a horrible experience that could have been prevented with better communication between surgical post op nurses and patient families. Since they won’t tell you, I will. If your scheduled surgery goes longer than expected and you are still in post op after visiting hours are over, your family can’t see you. My husband’s surgical appointment was at 10:45 AM. He went into surgery at 1:45 PM. His 2-3 hr surgery took 6 (which I completely understand, he’s high risk and it was more complicated once he was opened up, still, was worried sick after the 4 hour mark). Terrible care where you lay in your own body fluids for days!
Fantastic group of doctors. I showed up early for my appointment, and they saw me early. Very friendly, helpful staff.
