During a record heat wave in Bakersfield (July 2024), James Air Conditioning & Heating came to my rescue. Paul James was recommended to me by my neighbor. He confirmed the diagnosis of the problem (second opinion), expeditiously completed the repair, and the total came to less than a third of the total the other company wanted to charge. The system is 25 years old and will still need replacing at some point, but James Air Conditioning & Heating got me through a rough spot so I can actually think. Reliable, professional, friendly and above all else affordable. Both times have been able to come same day! We got lucky because they are so busy, however always take the time needed to leave us with nice cold AC!
