Dr. Shively is great. Not only is he knowledgable in his field, he has a calming presence making his patients feel safe and he is very helpful at answering all questions with thorough explanations. I haven't felt rushed during the eye exams (unlike other offices I've been too!), and the tech has been friendly. Dr. Shively referred me to an amazing Lasik surgeon as well, and for that I will be forever grateful! If you need new glasses/contacts or are looking for an ophthalmologist, I would definitely visit BeSpectacled!

As you step through the door, you're welcomed by a cozy yet impeccably kept waiting area, laying the foundation for what promises to be an extraordinary experience. But hold on tight, because once your name is called, you're about to take center stage in a larger setting tailored just for you. Overall good experience... doc and staff were friendly and nice. I took one star away because my son ripped his trial contact and his contacts aren't in yet. So, I called the office to find out if they would have a replacement until his order is in and they told me they didn't have anything close to his prescription available which is weird considering they had them on the day he was prescribed them so I thought that was a bummer and an excuse. I would be okay with paying for it but the fact that they didn't give that as an option sucks!
